With 131 people currently registered to compete in the 4th Annual Intense Games Winter Chiller, our registration is quickly drawing to a close. Here's a quick recap of how the event will evolve on Saturday, February 1st:
Registration will begin around 7:30 am in the Falcon Center at Fairmont State University; The first heat for the first workout kicks off at 9:00 am with the novice divisions going first, then intermediate and then finally the open divisions; Every athlete is guaranteed three workouts before the cuts going into the semi-finals; The first workout will be a body weight workout, the details of which will be announced around December 1st; The second workout was released on Friday, November 15th and is a barbell workout; and, The third workout will be released around January 1st. We anticipate that each athlete, once they begin the first workout within their heat, will have the first 3 workouts completed within an hour. We will release the heat assignments well before the event, once all of the registrations have been completed and we have had time to verify the number of athletes for each division. This will ensure that all athletes can plan the time frame in which they can fuel their bodies appropriately so as to maximize their performance. The semi-finals for each division will kick off around 1 pm.
